Network Support Engineer

Job Description   Force 3 is looking to expand our Support Team within our Support PlusPractice. We are searching for a customer focused, results-driven Engineer with a passion for technology. This Engineer will be a vital contributor to a growing practice - providing Network Support expertise to our external customers. This is not your typical Network Engineer role. You will sharpen your troubleshooting skills supporting a variety of US Federal Government customers and their evolving environments. We provide IT services to design, deploy, support and maintain our clients' technology needs. This includes solutions around Security, Data Center, Analytics, Cloud, Collaboration, Compute, and Wireless. We are implementing a new software adoption methodology and are looking for a high energy, proactive minded individual to work with our customers.   Job Responsibilities   As a Senior Network Support Engineer, you will report to the Manager, Support Services and be responsible for supporting and building relationships with our customers. Your specific duties as a Senior Network Support Engineer will include: Respond to New Service Requests Perform networktroubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems Maintain records of customer interaction and actions taken from escalation to completion of a Service Ticket. Be an internal escalation point for issues that arise within the department Participate in root cause analysis with other engineers for escalated service requests  Works collaboratively with engineers to provide our customers with 100% success. Responsible for involving other practices when the need arises for additional layer of escalation. Follow through with users whose issues are not closed on initial contact, which may include additional communication to the customer, a supervisor, or other practices at Force 3. Assist and mentor other Force 3 team members with special projects. Available to work On Call support   Job Requirements   As a Senior Network Support Engineer, your excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills will enable the Support Plus Practice to build upon and exceed customer and company goals.   Specific requiredqualifications for the Senior Network Support Engineerposition include:   Must be a US Citizen with a minimum Secret Clearance At least 5 years of solid Cisco experience focused in Routing, Switching and Security technologies CCNA Route/Switch certifications required CCNP Route/Switch certification preferred at start date, but will berequired within 120 days of employment at a minimum Must have at least 3 years of hands on experience with Cisco Core Route and Switch products Thorough knowledge of network analysis/management tools and techniques Experience in other technologies such as Wireless, Data Center and Security is a plus. Must be technically sound in Cisco and Cisco products and abreast of overall technology trends. Strong customer service experience is a must have US Federal government experience is a plus Cisco and or Cisco partner experience is a plus Must be a team player and build good working relationships across all functions Must have a strong personal drive for delivering Industry leading Customer support, and thrive in a fast-paced, high energy environment Must have a desire to devote effort and time to meeting continual technical improvement and growth goals on an annual basis Hours are 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Participation in normal on-call rotation is required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
