Communications Specialist

ECG, Inc. (Eden Consulting Group) has been providing project management, systems engineering, and IT consulting service to the Federal government since 1996. We are currently seeking a Communications Specialist for a position that is anticipated to start in Q2, 2018. This position will:
Assist with a variety of communications, both internal and external.
Assist with status reports relating to decennial business decisions.
Provide recommendations regarding communication of project planning, status, and results to stakeholders.
Maintain reports, record keeping, quality control associated with organizational marking goals and initiatives.
Assist with the development presentation material and reports to support program managers as needed.
Assist in writing documents for management reviews; work with project staff to provide document integrity.
Assist in developing papers for presentation to client.
Experience, Education and Certifications
3+ years of Communications or technical writing experience. A Bachelor's degree is required. Government contracting experience is preferred

Working Conditions
Regularly required to sit at a desk, work at a computer, and type. Occasionally lifts, carries, and/or moves objects weighing less than 25 pounds. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the companys credibility, operations, and services. Occasional travel, less than 10 percent, may be required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
