FACILITY SECURITY OFFICER \(FSO\)
Job Description
Force 3isseeking adynamicFacility Security Officer\(FSO\)to join our team in Crofton, MD, reporting to the Director, Administration\.This role manages facility and personnel security requirements and ensures full compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual \(NISPOM\), Intelligence Community Directives \(ICDs\)and all applicable Federal security laws, directives and regulations\.This is a highly visible and strategic role with exposure to all levels of management and federal agencies\.
Job Responsibilities
+ Subject matter expert of federal security procedures and policies: Properly maintainDISS/JPASdatabaseto include processingpersonnel clearances, security indoctrination briefings, debriefings, annual refresher briefings,NATO,and all other briefings as required by the NISPOM\. Process Visit Authorization Requests\(viaDISS/JPASormanually\)\.Investigate and report security violations and incident reports, completing Reports of Investigation \(ROI\) on applicable security matters\.Overseethe day\-to\-day operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility \(SCIF\), such as maintaining the structural integrity of the SCIF, managing and monitoring access, and administering security education\.
+ Internal collaboration and communication :Lead security initiatives for the company and communicate all relative information tomanagementand employees\.Collaborate with all relevant departments \(i\.e\., Sales, B&P, PMO, Contracts, Solutions Delivery, etc\.\) to ensure full compliance withthe NISPOM\.Mentor, coach, and reviewemployees for proper security adherence\.Assist management and employees inall security relatedadministrativetasks\.
+ Primary liaison with external customers and agencies: Advise and coordinate contractual security requirements and DD254s with various federal agencies\. Address and solve security problems with all levels of employees and customer representatives\.Leadself\-inspectionsand other assessments such asthe Defense Security Service Security Vulnerability Assessmentand all other internal audits and inspections related to security and compliance\.Liaise with outside agencies and keep management informed of all security activities\.
+ Provide ongoing company\-wide security awareness :Developand overseepoliciesand proceduresin security awareness and implement a continuous company\-wide security education andtrainingprogram\.Administer Force 3?s Insider ThreatProgram and serve as the Insider ThreatProgramSenior Official \(ITPSO\)\.Administer badging requirements for the facility\. Perform other related duties required toensurea comprehensive and viable security program within the guidelines of the NISPOM as well as Force 3?s Security Program\.
Qualification Requirements
+ U\.S\.Citizenshipand activeTS
+ Bachelor?sdegree, orequivalent experience,and minimum 5years? experience
+ Completion of FSO Orientation for Possessing FacilitiesinSTEPP viaCDSE
+ In\-depthworkingknowledge of NISPOM
+ ExperiencewithDISS/JPAS,e\-FCL,ISFD, e\-QIP, SWFT, ACCS, and other security accounts
+ Familiarity with Director of Central Intelligence Directives \(DCIDs\) and Intelligence Community Directives \(ICDs\)
+ Experience working in a classified environment while managing all aspects of the classified areas \(i\.e\., access, accountability, auditing, emergencies, incidents, reports, alarms, etc\.\)
+ Ability toanalyze problems, provide focused solutions, andexecute sound decisionsthrough effective communication to various internal and external audiences
+ Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced environment with a bias for action\. Ability to build high\-trust partnerships with management, employees,andexternalsecurity team members
Note: US Citizenship and ability to maintain a security clearance is mandatory for this position and required for consideration\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
