Litigation Job Responsibilities Prepare, review, and assemble all legal documents Assist with docket management Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, and process servers Track and receive all media, affidavits, and pleadings Generate and track all judgment documents Enter all applicable information into the firm's case management system Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Knowledge of legal principles and legal terminology.
Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Ability to work with databases and on-line technological platforms Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner Qualified candidates must be energetic, reliable, detail oriented, be able to prioritize to meet goals, and possess good problem-solving skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
