General Dental Assistant Office hours:
Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm.
Salary:
Negotiable, based on experience.

We are looking for a FULL TIME dental assistant that is X-ray Certified.

Position
Summary:
Perform a variety of responsibilities at a fast pace dental office.
Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments and materials.
Perform procedures in compliance with the dental practice act and adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assist doctor during dental procedures Perform instrument sterilization and infection control in the office Prepares treatment room for patient Update patient medical histories Prepares patient for dental treatment Take and develop x-rays when needed Clean and stock operatories Maintain dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Requirements:
MUST be X-ray Certified in Maryland Must understand Infection Control guidelines Experience with Softdent practice management software is a plus, but not required Must have reliable transportation Must work well within a team
