Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish - Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget - Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to construction standards - Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities - Review and interpret blueprints and construction plans - Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam and Primavera to track project progress - Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and address any issues or concerns - Manage project budgets and track expenses - Coordinate with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years field experience in earthwork, utilities or concrete work in the Baltimore-DC area - Proven experience in a working supervisor or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation - Familiarity with construction management software, such as Bluebeam and Primavera - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively supervise a team - Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors - Knowledge of budgeting and contract management - DOT Card and ability to haul and operate heavy equipment Note:
