We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Billing Specialist-Construction to join our construction firm.
This role is instrumental in managing financial transactions related to our construction projects.
You will be responsible for AIA billing, Client Progress Billing Draw Requests, account reconciliations, matching cash receipts with earnest money deposits, setting up new lenders, and reviewing HUDS in a timely manner to verify mobilization fees.
This position also requires strong project management skills, as you will be coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
1.
Manage AIA billing processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
2.
Prepare and submit Client Progress Billing Draw Requests.
3.
Conduct detailed account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
4.
Match cash receipts with earnest money deposits and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
5.
Set up new lenders in the system and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
6.
Review HUDS in a timely manner to verify mobilization fees and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
7.
Coordinate with project managers, finance team, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
8.
Utilize project management skills to oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
9.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2.
Proficient in AIA billing and Client Progress Billing Draw Requests.
3.
Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and cash management.
4.
Experience in setting up new lenders and managing financial transactions.
5.
Familiarity with HUDS and ability to review them for accuracy and compliance.
6.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
8.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
9.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
